Imlay Township Board of Review

The Imlay Township 2019 March Board of Review will meet at the Imlay Township Hall, 682 N. Fairgrounds Road, Imlay Township, on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 9:00 am to noon and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Petitions may be presented by mail, but must be received prior to March 14. Late petitions will not be accepted. Poverty Exemption and Veterans Exemption applications can be picked up at the Imlay Township Hall.

Board of Review

The Imlay Township 2020 July Board of Review will meet Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at 3:00pm – 4:00pm at the Imlay Township Hall 682 N. Fairgrounds Road. The July Board of Review will review Principle Residence Exemptions, Qualified Agricultural Exemptions, current year Poverty Exemptions, Veterans Exemptions, mutual mistakes of fact and any qualified errors.

Imlay Township Budget Public Hearing

The Imlay Township Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed Imlay Township budgets for the fiscal year April 1, 2019 – March 31, 2020 at the Imlay Township Hall, 682 N. Fairgrounds Road, Imlay City, MI on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 7:30 p.m.

The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing.

Copies of the proposed budgets are available for public inspection at the Imlay Township Hall. The Imlay Township Board will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting up to 7 days notice to the Imlay Township Board. Imlay Township Budget Public Hearing

At the Township Board meeting scheduled for March 20, 2019, the Township Board will be discussing the possibility of hiring a part time Lapeer County Sheriff Department deputy. Sheriff McKenna will be at the meeting to answer questions. The public is invited to attend.
