Notice of Intent to Prepare the Materials Management Plan

On August 8, 2024 Lapeer County has filed its Notice of Intent to Prepare the Materials Management Plan and has become the County Approval Agency as required per Part 115, Solid Waste Management, of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act,1994 PA 451, as amended.

Lapeer County intents to complete the MMP development as a MULTICOUNTY plan with: Tuscola, Huron and Sanilac Counties. Please note that all materials management planning committee meetings are open to the public and notices of these meetings shall be found on the Tuscola County website www.tuscolacounty.org or copies can be picked up at Tuscola County Recycling at 987 Ellington St Caro, MI 48723 in addition each municipality will receive notice and will have the meeting notices available as well.

Early Voting for the Presidential Primary

Imlay Township is the host site for Early Voting for the Presidential Primary (February 17th to 25th, 2024) for the City of Imlay City, and Imlay Township.
The hours for Early Voting are 8 am to 4 pm.

The Township Offices will be open for regular business on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 am to 1 pm, only. The office will be closed January 19, 2024, for President’s Day.

Imlay Township Board of Review

The Imlay Township 2021 December Board of Review will meet Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 2:00pm at the Imlay Township Hall 682 N. Fairgrounds Road. The December Board of Review will review Principle Residence Exemptions, Qualified Agricultural Exemptions, current year Poverty Exemptions, Veterans Exemptions, and qualified errors of fact. The December Board of Review will not hear appeals on assessment and taxable values.

Imlay Township Park Improvements - Advertisement for Bids

JOB NO. 19C0038 - Sealed Bids for the construction of the Imlay Township Park Improvements will be received by Imlay Township, at the office of 682 North Fairgrounds Road, Imlay City, Ml 48444, until 11 a.m. local time on July 24, 2019, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of constructing pickle ball courts, fencing, and HMA parking lot and pathways.
