Planning Commission Public Hearing
The Imlay Township Planning Commission shall hold a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at the Township Hall at 682 North Fairgrounds.
The public hearing is to consider the following requests:
A request for a rezoning from R-1 One Family Residential to B-2 General Business for property located at 640 Imlay City Road.

A request for a rezoning from NB-O Neighborhood Office to AG Agricultural for property located at 760 N. Van Dyke Road
Requested by: Stewart and April Shafer
A set of proposed text amendments that would add the use “Banquet Hall” to uses permitted in the B-2 General Business zoning district and the use “Event Barn” to uses allowed as a Special Land Use in the AG Agricultural zoning district and also modify the Definition, Use Standards, and Site Standards articles of the zoning ordinance to address these proposed new uses.

This meeting is open to the public. Anyone wishing to comment on any of these items but is unable to attend the meeting may send their comments to – Imlay Township Planning Commission, 682 North Fairgrounds Road Imlay City, MI 48444. A copy of the rezoning applications and text amendments are available at the Imlay Township Hall between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
